The Slow Boat tours from Bangkok to Ayutthaya starting in October 2024 will add some laid back experience to do when visiting Bangkok and Ayutthaya. Discover the unique scenes of life on the Chao Phraya River from the deck of the Sabai Sabai River tour Boat. Our Tour boats provide a comfortable setting to experience the tranquility and vibes on the Chao Phraya the River of Kings over a 6 hours journey along villages and lush nature. Away from the hustle of the city the surroundings are replaced by the tranquility of the countryside. Along densely wooded river banks, tin and timber homes from Thai families whose lives are still bound by the beautiful river. On this journey, you will see many facets of Thai culture along the Chao Phraya river from Bangkok to Ayutthaya, admire historical temples, visit the summer royal palace at Bang Pa In... The longest river in Thailand, Chao Phraya River has been a lifeline of Thai people for centuries. It is where Thai people trade, commute and live on and from the river. Embark on a leisurely one day journey aboard our Sabai Sabai Riverboat, where you find lunch and cold drinks included in the price. We start in the morning at 9.00 on the Tha Maharaj Pier in Bangkok's old town convenient next to the Khaosan Area and the Grand Palace. on our journey to Ayutthaya we stop at temples like the Summer Palace only for sightseeing, (no sales activity's all through the tour). We provide typical Thai food as well as cold drinks on the boat. During your boat tour we serve dinner and coffee. After around 6 hours (ca.15.00) we reach our pier in Ayutthaya next to Wat Mahathat. The return tour to Bangkok starts at 15.30 and ends in Bangkok 19.30, we serve lunch on board as well as cold drinks. On the way Ayutthaya to Bangkok we do not stop at Temples, therefore we go all the way into the heart of the city by night, providing the amazing sight of glittering Bangkok by night. Last stop will be again Tha Maharaj. The Boat provides space for up to 25 People.
