Description
Pick up from hotel in Bangkok at 08:00 a.m. Private Transfer by private a/c vehicle to visit Bang Pa-In Summer Palace in Ayutthaya province (drive about 1.5 hour). Bang Pa In palace was 1st built since Ayutthaya Kingdom period (1350-1767 A.D.), which later was reconstructed and used as the summer palace of Thai Kings. Cross the river to visit the amazing and beautiful Church style Buddhist temple. The design of the temple was similar to the Christian church but the function performed is for Buddhist religious function and the Buddhist monk resides there. The temple is located on the island besides Bang-Pa-In Summer Palace which we have to walk and cross the river by the cable cart. Continue driving to Ayutthaya Historical Park (UNESCO World Heritage site) Enjoy private boat tour, sailing along the river of Kings (Chao Phraya River) for about 1 hour. The boat will bring us tour around Ayutthaya Historical Park which you can enjoy sightseeing on the boat. Have an included Thai boat noodle at the local restaurant. Then visit Wat Mahathat of Ayutthaya. The famous historical temple where you can see the head of Buddha image inside the tree root as the highlight together with the remain of the temple architecture of the temple. The temple was first built in the late 14th century as the Centre of all temples in Ayutthaya which been used for important religious ceremonies and was the residence of the supreme monk patriarch. Continue to visit Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, the former residence and royal chapel of the Kings in Ayutthaya period (1350-1767 A.D.). This historical site was the prototype of Grand Palace and Temple of Emerald Buddha in Bangkok. Then walk to the local market where you can buy the souvenirs and local desserts and drink before return to hotel in Bangkok by private a/c vehicle around 16:30 p.m. Remarks : 1.
