Hanrahan's Irish pub is always a welcoming and friendly environment; the staff is well trained and you will never fail to catch a famous 'Thai smile'. Free of the bar girls that the area of Soi 4 has come to be known for, the bar is a refreshing venue, with a refreshing drinks list to match! With three differing floors it will take a few visits to truly make the most of all Hanrahan's has to offer.
Downstairs is perfect for watching sports (Hanrahan's was recently voted best pub in Bangkok for watching live English and Scottish soccer), as there is a large flat screen and two huge projectors. The middle floor is more of a lounge, with plush leather seating and floor to ceiling windows. This is the place for a game of pool. Finally, on the third floor you can find an open air roof terrace, perfect for making the most of a warm evening.
With daily English newpapers, this is something of an ex-pat haven. Locals and holiday-makers alike enjoy a cold drink or a decent meal in Hanrahan's, and it's popularity looks like it will only grow.
