The quirky Seafood Market and Restaurant brings you an original dining experience. Although the decor is more retro than modern the dining space designed to seat as many customers as possible provides an enjoyable, loud and eccentric atmosphere.
When you arrive you are given a shopping trolley that you push around the indoor market and then pick out the fish and vegetables that take your fancy from the long ice counter. With an ambitious motto of 'If it swims we have it' you will be sure to find something that you like. A lot of the fish is locally sourced such as Phuket lobster, but also includes products from further afield like the Alaskan crab. Also on offer is a range of fresh vegetables and recommended recipes. After paying for your meal and choosing who will cook it for you, take a seat and watch the chefs at work!
For those who are a bit more shy there is a set menu but the key to this place is to embrace what's on offer. Join in the fun, grab a trolley and pile it high! The restaurant is perfect for families with children, who will love discovering each type of fish that is available, some of which are still alive in their tanks! Groups are also well catered for here with large tables easily assembled due to the huge dining hall space. But couples looking for an intimate evening may want to give it as miss. Once you have eaten your fill of delicious fish you will find it amusing to watch new diners arrive as they wonder what to make of it all.
You will fall in love with this strange culinary concept that is a far cry from contemporary dining, but the freshest seafood in town combined with great choice, service and atmosphere will give you a night you will never forget!
