A Thai fusion restaurant that delivers unusual dishes which are not commonly associated with the standard restaurants of Bangkok. The decoration is an appealing initial attraction to the restaurant which is inspired by more of a Moroccan theme rather than traditional attire. Generally Maha Naga is very quiet; partly as a result of its hidden location, so asking for directions is advised. However this means that it's not essential to book in advance and there is the option to dine outside which is a bonus.
To enjoy the food an acquired palette is definitely required as many of the dishes are unbalanced, such as their pork chop and green curry plate. The prices are also higher than average and the service is considerably slow despite it being relatively quiet most of the time. While you are waiting for your meal the surrounding Indian style mosaics and the fountain courtyard is very pleasing on the eye; a beautiful bar is located in the nouveau house.
