Witch's Oyster Bar & Restaurant, conveniently located at the lower end of the ever-busy Sukhumvit Road, has an established reputation for good food, quality wine, and a soft and atmospheric interior. A diverse menu gives diners the choice of popping in for a quick bite of pizza, nachos or tapas, or staying for meatier restaurant style dishes.
As expected, oysters are first on the menu, and the restaurant hosts special 'Oyster Festivals' twice a week, with the crustaceans imported live from France. Witch's Oyster Bar also provides daily seafood selections with different sauces, including cooked oysters with cheesy mornay sauce, and oysters with bacon and Worcestershire sauce.
British cuisine makes a brief impression on the menu, with the reto Waldorf salad, as well as lamb shank, classic bangers and mash, and the ever-filling dessert of bread and butter pudding. For those after a more exotic dish, Witch's Oyster Bar and Restaurant features appetising tapas; red wine chorizo, grilled tiger prawns, and beef satay are amongst the offerings.
